Do eco-friendly cleaning products work as well as traditional products?
Yes. Many of our clients are initially concerned that using green products will sacrifice cleaning effectiveness. A variety of studies have shown that green cleaning products perform as well as, if not superior to, conventional cleaning products.
Who will be cleaning my home?
The individuals who clean are trained professionals and are dedicated to providing thorough and efficient cleaning. If you are not satisfied, let us know!
Will the same person be cleaning my home regularly?
We recognize that effective cleaning is best accomplished by those who are familiar with your home and your personal preferences. As such, we make every effort to provide you with the same cleaning team for each visit. We encourage relationship building and want you to feel comfortable with those cleaning your home. The only exception to this is vacation, or sick days, at which time we would need to send a fill in cleaner.
Do I need to provide any supplies?
No. AYS Cleaning provides all basic supplies!
We ask that you let us know in advance of any additional tools or supplies you would like us to use or provide.
How do I pay?
We invoice you. You may pay via check in the mail, credit card by calling the office with a 3% processing fee, or online via invoice (NEW!). Payment is due the day of service.
Do I have to be at home when you clean?
No. In fact, most clients are not home when we come.
Are your rates higher than cleaning services that use traditional cleaning products?
It depends. We recognize that other cleaning services range both higher and lower than our own. We believe that our rates are appropriately priced for the services we offer. We charge a flat rate, which is determined by considerations such as the size of the home, the distance we travel to get there, and your priorities.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life is 'flexible'-- so we are as well. Just simply let us know at a respectable time. We maintain a 7-day cancellation policy which includes a late cancellation fee.
Are you insured, licensed, bonded & do you carry worker's compensation?
Absolutely. We are a licensed business with the State of Michigan. All our teams are bonded and insured. We do provide worker's compensation for our employees. If you need more information, do not hesitate to contact us!
Do you offer a discount for referrals?
Of course! We love that you love our services! Refer a friend and after they schedule a clean with us, you will get 10% off your next cleaning.
Do you service other outlying areas of Traverse City?
Yes. We have clients in ALL surrounding areas! This includes: Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Cedar, Frankfort, Suttons Bay, Kalkaska, Williamsburg, Kingsley; also Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Benzie and Antrim counties.
